Apostle Alphonse Okossi preaching main WORD at Sunday Feb. 10, 2019 service at Calvary Living Faith Church in Harlem. The title of Apostle Okossi's sermon was 'BREAKTHROUGH'. Apostle Okossi preached that the Enemy knows us (Christians) because of the authority that we have over the power of Satan. "We have a solution, a weapon, but we have to know how to use it," the Apostle preached. "We are part of the Kingdom of God that has already defeated Satan. But we have to know how to use that power," Apostle Okossi explained. The Apostle used Daniel as an example of BREAKTHROUGH against the power of the Enemy. Apostle Okossi referenced Scripture DANIEL 10:15-2: (15)And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb. (16) And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength. (17) For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.
(18) Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me, (19) And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me. (20) Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come. (21) But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince." This scripture speaks of Daniel who was in captivity in the Land of Babylon ruled by Cyrus King of Persia. "We are now in the spiritual kingdom of Babylon. This is the Kingdom of the world," Apostle Okossi preached. "This is why we have pressure from the Enemy. The Prince of Persia is an agent of Satan. Satan is the Prince of the air," Apostle Okossi preached. But the good news is that Jesus had defeated the power Satan has over us, Apostle Okossi told the congregation. But we have to always be on guard, nonetheless. "The Enemy is a deceiver. Satan attacks your mind to gain control of your heart. Satan has authentic power in the World," Apostle Okossi stated. He continued that Satan is a fallen angel, the Prince of the air, below Heaven, and above the Earth. "Satan is the Prince of the air blocking our prayers to God above him. Satan manipulates the atmosphere. But Jesus said the Prince of the World we be driven out," Apostle Okossi preached. He warned the Church that more people follow Satan than GOD, and because of this, Satan still rules the World. "The Book of Daniel is a good example of how to live in the spiritual Babylon world and resist Satan," Apostle Okossi instructed the congregation. "Remember Daniel In the Den Of Lions, and Shadrach, Meschach, and Abednego from the book of Daniel of three Jewish boys who refused to bow down to the King of Babylon, King Nebuchadnezzer. Never give up on God." Apostle Okossi referenced Scripture John 16:33, which says: (33)These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." Apostle Okossi preached that we must chose the Kingdom of GOD or the Kingdom of Satan. "We must take authority over all thoughts from the Enemy. THE MIND IS A PERMANENT BATTLE GROUND. The Enemy uses lies, confusion, indecision, to control our mind away from GOD. Set your minds on things above: Jesus. Set your eyes on Jesus at all times You must know the devices of the Devil. He uses oppression. The Devil knows who you are.
