Bible Study at Calvary Living Faith Church in Harlem was given by Minister Gary Raynaldo. Minister Gary taught on the important Biblical subjects of FEAR and FAITH. "Why do so many of us Christians live in constant Fear despite God's Promise to protect us and deliver us from any adversity.
"FOR GOD HATH NOT GIVEN US THE SPIRIT OF FEAR; BUT OF POWER, AND LOVE, AND A SOUND MIND." TIMOTHY 2 CHAP 1 VERSE 7. Apostle Paul teaches in this scripture about that Fear is not of a Spirit of GOD, and that we must rebuke Fear in the Name of Jesus.
Minister Gary referenced Scripture ISAIAH 43: 2 "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you." The scripture teaches us that God will be walking next to us when we walk through our own Fires of Life, and that he will be with us as we wander lost through rivers and guide us to safety.
Minister Gary proclaimed to the Church that FEAR IS A SIN. Fear is a Sin because you call God a liar when you are afraid, you are telling God you don't believe any of his promises. FEAR takes our eyes away from God and off the Word of God, Minister Gary taught. If fear is a Sin, who is the father of all sins? Satan! The enemy uses lies and fear to try to destroy our Faith in God, and his love, and promises to take care of us.
How do we protect ourselves from the destruction of Fear? We must always stand strong on our FAITH in GOD!
BUT WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE HIM; FOR HE THAT COMETH TO GOD MUST BELIEVE THAT HE IS A REWARDER OF THEM WHO DILIGENTLY SEEK HIM." HEBREWS 11: 6.
BUT LET HIM ASK IN FAITH, NOTHING WAVERING FOR HI THAT WAVERETH IS LIKE A WAVE OF THE SEA, DRIVEN WITH THE WIND AND TOSSED JAMES 1:6
Yes, beloved we must always have unshakable Faith in Jesus , that HE will always come through for us. Maybe not as fast as we want, But HE will come through.
There Is Power In The WORD. IS NOT MY WORD LIKE AS A FIRE SAITH THE LORD, AND LIKE A HAMMER THAT BREAKS THE ROCK IN PIECES JEREMIAH 23:29
There is Power In The WORD. That is why the Devil wants to steal it through using FEAR. But let us stand boldly on the WORD of GOD with unshakable FAITH! AMEN IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME
