IVORY COAST MISSIONS

Ivory Coast was a French colony until 1960, from that time on to about the middle of the nineties the country was enjoy some prosperity until the death of the first president. From that time on the country became quite instable due to political power struggles and civil war. Currently the need is very great: poverty is rampant, AIDS is devastating familes, many children are the geatest victimes of the devastation and wars. To make the matter even worse, there is a power struggle between Muslim religion, false religion and Christianity making the need for evangelism very pressing. Our strategy is to first train leaders we personally know then help implant churches for these leaders to build local Christian communities and carry out evangelism outreaches.

We started with this mission a little over one year ago, we trained to this date 9 leaders using the Harvestime International Network curriculum. We have church implantation in two locations with over 80 members. The following are the trained leaders in our local staff team:

the following two locations are effectively already implanted and operating, meeting in rented building:
• Abobo Dotré• Abobo Centers
• Daguikoi (Affery)

The following are the locations that have expressed the need for us to implate church:

• Yopougon
• Sahuyé (Sikensi)
• Sikensi
• Dabou

Since we already have trained leaders we are able to cover them but would need some consistent donations that will help establish them.

What you do to help this call of Jesus:

(a). you can commit to pray daily for this ministry that God's purpose and kingdom be established in Ivory Coast, a war torn country with great spiritual and natural needs. Pray specifically for God's protection over all the leaders, their families and all the believers in his area.

(b) you can commit to give an amount of money on a regular basis to this ministry to help specifically this particular mission. They are currently in need of two church building as well as a van to go into remote villages to evangelize. They also will need some building funds as well as some love offering for the family. 3- For the Evangelization

· A rough terrain SUV for evangelist to go into remote villages
· A power generating unit (in case of interruption of current in the not electrified villages)

· Stations television sets (Large screen for the comment of films to show Jesus movies)
· DVD
· Clothing ( to distribute to population in need)
· Computers (portable + others).

Our mission is to support mission works, provide strong biblical and ministry training and consulations to ministry and church leaders to the Body of Christ.
