Life by the Spirit (Galatians 5:16-18,22-26)
16So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. 17For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. 18But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.
22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. 25Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other
It is not enough that you cease from doing evil, but as a new man in Christ, you must learn to do well. Men may learn to do many things, but for this you must be born again (Ps 34:14; Isa 1:16,17; Lu 18:11; Ro 12:9,21; 2Co 7:1; Col 3:5-10). Born again, you receive a new nature.
Being born again, having received a new nature, we are to ABIDE in CHRIST to be able to live our life such that men may see our good works, and glorify our Father which is in heaven (Mt 5:16). Count yourself dead unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ, loving Him because He first loved you (Ro 6:11; 1Jo 4: 10,19). Put off the old man with the works of the flesh, and put on the new man which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness (Eph 4:22-24).
Repent or perish can be found in the following passages of Scripture:
Mt 4:17; 7:21; 9:13; Mark 1:5; 2:17; 8:38; Lu 5:32; 15:7; 13:2-5; 24:47; Joh 14:21-24; Ac 3:19; 17:30; 26:20; Eph 2:8-10; Heb 5:9; 1Jo 2:4-5; Re 3:19. Open your Bible and see these verses
Our acts are expressions of our inner selves. We sin because we have sin dwelling in us. The sinful nature is what makes us sinners.
This nature is found within every part of man, so refraining from external acts of sin is not enough to entitle us to salvation (Lu 18:11). Men break the commandments of God by harboring evil thoughts (Mt 5:21-22, 27-28; Eph 2:3). Infants bring this innate corruption from the very womb (Ps 51:5). Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child (Pr 22:15). The whole nature of man is a seedbed of sin (Gen 6:5; 8:21; Job 9:20; Ps 14:2-3; 36:2; Eccl 7:20; Jer 17:9; Mt 15:19; Ro 3:10).
The Lord knows them that are His, having redeemed them with His own blood, when He died on the cross (Eph 1:7; Col 1:14; 1Pe 1:18-19; Re 5:9). Live for Him that died for you, departing from iniquity (2Ti 2:19). Consider yourself, not being tempted by what you might see (1Co 11:28; 2Co 10:12; 13:5). As Solomon wrote, Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before Him (Eccl 8:11-12).
1 John 1:6-8 (New International Version)
6If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. 7But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all[a] sin.
8If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
1.Pray to break generation sins
and curses in your life,
they likely exist
2. Pray to severe
ungodly soul ties: they are relationships to people and
institutions that have a different agenda than God's,
no restriction.
3. Pray to break self inflicted curses or vows that
you have spoken carelessly on yourself, thinking that what you
said about yourself is cute or innocent but know that it may open
doors to the enemy to come in your life and start his work of
killing, stealing and destroying.
4. Pray to cast out any
demonic spirit from your situations, they are there to enforce
the purpose of the devil (kill, still, destroy) in your life. Do not
ignore their presence.
5. Pray for restoration and the power of
God in your life. Then rejoice and give thanks to God always.
Pray always, meditate on the Word of God day and night.
