DECISION MAKING PRACTICE

In agreement with the mission, vision and purpose of PEN and its President’s general directions, specific goals and objectives, each appointed or elected leader in a PEN leadership office must be the decision maker in their area of jurisdiction. They shall be directly accountable for their assigned jurisdictions.

 

Prior to the meeting the following principles must be implemented:

  1. Acknowledge that the Leadership of the Lord Jesus in every agenda item and allowing the Holy Spirit to Counsel each meeting attendee and deny counseling power to the devil.
  2. personal prayer about each topic of the agenda
  3. personal journaling about each topic of the agenda
  4. following the Biblical truth that “in the multitude of counselors, there is safety…” , discretely inquiry from anointed leaders in the area of the agenda shall be carried out.
  5. Biblical meditations corresponding to each agenda item must be done by each meeting attendant.

 

In a meeting setting, all decisions shall be made in a “one accord” agreement of the members of that particular body who are present.

 

 A facilitator must be elected at every non-administration related meeting. Five Fold Ministers and Help ministers are recognized as such through the respective councils.

 

When the topics to be discussed in the agenda is known in advance, this agenda must be provided to each attendees who must meditate on it and journal on it for at least 3 days prior to the meeting seeking God’s will o each issue.
